By road, the M6 meets the city at Junction 6, better known as Spaghetti Junction, and the A38(M) Aston Expressway and the A4540 Middleway ring road carry traffic around the centre. From Five Ways much of the city centre is walkable, and the canal towpaths make a pleasant route into town.
