We confirm bedrooms, sleeping arrangements, kitchen facilities, laundry and parking for the specific home before you book. Close to where you report
Getting to work easily matters when a posting begins. Northwood is close to the Northwood HQ area, with a direct Metropolitan line link and good road access, and the Blenheim Crescent area can be reached by road. We will talk through parking, public transport and journey options with you before you book, so that your commute is settled before you arrive.

Northwood Headquarters
The Permanent Joint Headquarters, which commands UK joint and multinational operations for the Ministry of Defence, is based at Northwood, and the site is also one of NATO’s two maritime command headquarters. We plan stays around your reporting date rather than a fixed length.
Stations and roads
Northwood, Northwood Hills and Moor Park stations are on the Metropolitan line, and the M25 is close at Junctions 17 and 18. We will not guess journey times to your building: tell us where you report and when, and we will talk through the options honestly.

Our homes in the area include a three-bedroom family home with a large garden on the Moor Park estate and a three-bedroom house in Northwood itself. Bedrooms, parking and laundry are confirmed for the specific home before you book.
Schools and family life
Families on a posting often weigh up schools first. Independent schools such as Merchant Taylors’ are close to Moor Park and Northwood, and Northwood (Hillingdon) and Moor Park (Hertfordshire) fall under different councils, so check state-school admissions with the right one.

Flexible around posting dates
Posting dates can move at short notice, and allocation of longer-term housing does not always arrive when expected. We keep our arrangements flexible so that your accommodation can keep pace. Short stays for an initial visit, longer stays while the family joins and extended stays while you wait for a permanent home are all welcome.

Can you plan around my posting dates?
Yes. Tell us your reporting date, your likely arrival and whether the family will join later, and we will plan the stay around them. If dates move, speak to us as soon as you know.
Can my family stay with me?
Yes. Tell us how many adults and children will be staying, and whether anyone has particular needs, and we will recommend a home of a suitable size.
Can I stay while waiting for longer-term accommodation?
That is one of the most common reasons for a stay like this. Longer stays are welcome, and we will agree dates with you directly and plan with a margin. If the wait lengthens, let us know.
Can a unit or employer arrange the booking?
Yes. If an organisation arranges or pays for the stay, tell us who the guest is, who the contact is and what paperwork or reference you need, and we will confirm the arrangements before the booking is made.
Is the home near Northwood HQ and Blenheim Crescent?
Northwood is close to the Northwood HQ area, and the Blenheim Crescent area can be reached by road. Tell us where you will be reporting and your usual travel times, and we will explain the journey honestly before you book.
Are you an approved MOD or NATO accommodation supplier?
No. We are an independent provider, so we are not part of military housing allocation. You or your employer can book with us directly; tell us what paperwork you need and we will confirm what we can provide before anything is booked.
