Serviced Accommodation in Northern Cyprus
Serviced homes on the north coast of Cyprus for holidays and relocations, looked after by the Ayda Stays team and booked directly, with Kyrenia (Girne) as our base.
Cyprus
An island made for slow stays
Cyprus is the third-largest island in the Mediterranean, with a long summer, a mild winter and a coastline that rewards unhurried days. Our homes are on the north coast, where the sea meets the Kyrenia mountain range and old harbour towns keep their character. Guests come for the beaches, the history and the light, and many return when a holiday turns into a longer plan.

Who visits the north coast
Holiday makers
The island’s appeal is its variety within a small area: a single week can include a morning on a quiet beach, an afternoon in a castle and an evening in a harbour restaurant. Spring and autumn are warm and comfortable for walking and sightseeing, while summer suits long beach days. Guests who prefer to cook, spread out and keep their own routine often choose a home over a hotel.
Relocators
Many people explore Cyprus as a place to live, drawn by the climate, the pace of life and the sense of community in its towns. A temporary base allows time to see different areas, meet local agents and understand daily life before committing to anything. Tell us your timeline and we will plan a stay that fits around it.
Getting there and around
Ercan International Airport serves the north of the island, with many routes connecting through Turkey. Guests also arrive via Larnaca or Paphos in the south and cross by road at one of the checkpoints, so it is worth checking entry requirements and rental car insurance rules before you travel. Traffic drives on the left, and a hire car gives the most freedom to explore. Shared minibuses known as dolmus link the main towns, and taxis are widely available.

Beyond the north coast
Famagusta has a walled medieval city and the ruins of ancient Salamis close by, while the Karpaz Peninsula in the north-east is known for wide, quiet beaches and wild landscapes. Nicosia, divided between north and south, has an old quarter of narrow streets, markets and historic buildings. The Kyrenia mountains offer walking routes and castle ruins, with sea views from the ridges. Distances are short, so most of these can be seen on day trips from the coast.

Before you travel to Cyprus
Summers are hot and dry, while spring and autumn are milder and ideal for walking and sightseeing. English is widely understood, Turkish is the everyday language of the north, and the Turkish lira is the local currency, so it helps to check how you will pay before you travel. Entry requirements and rules for crossing between north and south depend on nationality and change from time to time, so please check the latest guidance before you book flights.
Where we stay in Cyprus
Our Cyprus homes are in the north coast town of Kyrenia, also known as Girne, a harbour town where the mountains meet the sea.
Why book direct on the island
Booking directly means the person who answers your first question is the person who looks after your stay. That matters on an island where plans often involve flights, crossings and arrival times, because we can adapt dates, explain the route to the home and stay in touch while you travel. For relocators, we can also discuss longer stays openly and early. Our 4.98 Superhost rating reflects that approach.
