Stay as long as your move needs
Relocation timelines are rarely neat. A sale takes longer than planned, a start date moves or a new home is not quite ready, and the temporary base has to keep up. We welcome longer stays and are open to adjusting dates where availability permits. Tell us your best estimate of how long you will need, and we will plan around it with a margin for change.
Questions we are often asked
How long can I stay while relocating?
Stay lengths depend on the home and the time of year, and we agree them with you directly. Longer stays are welcome. If you are not yet sure when your permanent home will be ready, give us your best estimate and we will plan with a sensible margin.
Can I bring my family and children?
Yes. Tell us how many adults and children will be staying and whether anyone has particular needs, and we will recommend homes of a suitable size. Please ask about specific requirements, such as cots or high chairs, and we will confirm what can be arranged.
Can I work from the home while I settle in?
Workspace differs between homes, so tell us what you need (a desk, a quiet room or reliable WiFi for calls) and we will confirm which homes offer it before you book.
What if my permanent home is delayed?
Delays happen, from slow completions to builders running late. Let us know what has changed, and we will see whether the home can stay yours for longer. If another guest is booked in afterwards, we will talk through your options promptly.
Can I book directly instead of through a platform?
Yes. Booking directly with our team lets you discuss your dates, household and requirements before you confirm, and makes it much easier to adjust arrangements if your plans change.
